Privacy policy

The short version
- Your files are never uploaded. PDFs, photos, images, audio and video you open in our tools are processed entirely inside your browser, on your device. We never receive, see or store them.
- We don’t require an account and don’t ask for your name or email to use any tool.
- Our own analytics are cookie-free. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites.
- Ads may use cookies if they’re enabled and you consent. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent message asks for your choice first.
Files you process
Every tool on this site runs in your web browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly and, for some tools, AI models that run on your device. When you choose a file, it’s read into your browser’s memory and processed there. The results are created on your device and saved with your browser’s normal download feature. When you close or reload the page, the data in memory is cleared.
To do this work, your browser downloads program code and model files — for example, the speech recognition model for transcription or the face detection model for passport photos — from our site or from public content delivery networks (cdn.jsdelivr.net, huggingface.co and storage.googleapis.com). These are downloads to your device. Your files are not sent with these requests.
Information stored on your device
Some tools store information in your own browser so they work better:
- Saved signatures (Sign PDF), only if you tick “Remember on this device”. Delete them at any time with “Forget my signatures”.
- Your answers in the legal document generator, in session storage, so a page refresh doesn’t lose your work. They are deleted when you close the tab.
- Cached tools and models, so tools load faster and work offline next time.
- Your light/dark theme preference.
This data stays on your device. We can’t access it. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure performance. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t collect personal data such as your IP address for tracking, and doesn’t follow you across other websites.
Advertising
We may show ads served by Google AdSense on our pages, outside the tools. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, and may personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites, depending on your choices. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage personalisation at Google Ad Settings.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before any advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy & cookie choices” link in the footer.
Affiliate links
Some pages include affiliate links, which are labelled. If you buy something through one, we may earn a commission. The retailer may use cookies according to its own privacy policy.
Contact messages
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Children
Our tools are general-purpose and not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we don’t collect your files or require accounts, we hold very little personal data about you. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act or US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, such as emails you’ve sent us. Contact us to exercise them.
Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change and show the date of the latest update at the top.
